Thai Papaya Salad or Som Tam is popular throughout Southeast Asia. It is a fresh, healthy salad with a combination of sweet, sour, salty and spicy dish makes a harmonious. Making Papaya Salad is more an art than a science, and you will quickly draw your own balance of ingredients to to make it to your own taste.

Papaya salad has three basic types:
Som Tam Thai, who roasted peanuts mixed in it. (This recipe)
Som Tam Bu, who pounded pickled crab in it.
Som Tam Lao, the juice of pickled mud - fish in it.

My personal favorite is Papaya Salad Som Tam Som Tam Thai and Lao.
Papaya Salad really should be prepared using a mortar and pestle.

1 clove garlic
2   Chillies   -   or as   if you want.
¼ cup   roasted peanuts
½ cup   tomatoes
½ cup   green beans
2 tablespoons   lime juice
2 tablespoons   palm sugar
2 tablespoons   fish sauce
2 cups   grated   green   papaya

Shred   green   papaya
slice   tomatoes
Chop the green beans
slice   Lime

Do   garlic and   chili   peppers   in the   mortar, save the   into small pieces
Joint   peanut,   save the   into small pieces
Joint   palm sugar, must be good to mix
Joint   lime, fish sauce and   stamp   to the well   is mixed
Add the green   papaya   and green   beans   and mix well

Garnish with   roasted peanuts
